When unlucky in love PR Executive Mikayla meets coffee shop owner and aspiring pastry chef Austin, the pair strike a deal: she’ll taste test his creations if he gives her dating advice. Things are going well until Mikayla starts to feel undermined at work and rent prices at the café rise threatening Austin’s livelihood.

Director Lal Jose is all ready with Neela Thamara, a remake of the 1979 hit by the same name, that was scripted by M.T. Vasudevan Nair and directed by Yusaf Ali Kechery. The film has had its shoot at various locations as Pattambi, Malamalkavu, Chamravattam, Kuttippuram and Thavanur.

Marianna escapes to HK where she finds Peter and persuades him to hire her as a maid so that she can hide out. Nancy, Peter's wife, isn't too keen on the idea especially when she discovers her husband’s infidelity. Nancy leaves HK to visit her relative in the Philippines and Peter follows to make amends. They decide to go on a road trip where hopefully they can begin anew. Their scenic tour goes askew immediately and soon turns into a horrific nightmare; as they too are pursued by the tribe that is after Marianna.
