Aside from doubling the length of each episode, The New Scooby-Doo Movies differed from its predecessor in the addition of a rotating special guest star slot; each episode featured real-life celebrities or well known fictional characters joining the Mystery, Inc. gang in solving the mystery of the week. Some episodes, in particular the episodes guest-starring the characters from The Addams Family, Batman, and Jeannie, deviated from the established Scooby-Doo format of presenting criminals masquerading as supernatural beings by introducing real ghosts, witches, monsters, and other such characters into the plots.

O desenho retrata um jovem faxineiro que trabalha na delegacia de polícia, Penry, que sempre ao ouvir os relatos de Rosemary ao Sargento Flint sobre os vários pedidos de socorro na cidade, discretamente, sai de vista e se transforma no "super-magnífico lutador contra o crime", Hong Kong Fu, um lutador(um especialista!) de artes marciais, usando um Kimono vermelho e uma máscara sobre os olhos para manter sua identidade secreta, sai a procura dos bandidos e "super-vilões" da cidade, derrotando-os das mais variadas formas possiveis(ou melhor dizendo, nas mais variadas trapalhadas possíveis). Hong Kong Fu, também é uma óbvia sátira aos seriados de Kung Fu que marcaram a época.

Conta a história de quatro pequenas crianças, Leo (que adora reger e está sempre acompanhado de sua batuta), June (que adora dançar e está sempre com suas sapatilhas de balé), Annie (que adora cantar) e Quincy (que adora tocar) que viajam com seu amigo Foguete, para cumprir suas missões ajudando todos que precisam. Juntos eles procuram soluções aos problemas que vão sendo apresentados ao longo dos episódios utilizando música clássica e muita imaginação. Ao final de cada episódio os personagens apresentam as obras que foram utilizadas durante a história (uma música e uma pintura ou escultura) e pedem palmas para os artistas. Trata-se de uma forma leve e divertida de proporcionar às crianças um primeiro contato com a arte.

Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids is an animated series created, produced, and hosted by comedian Bill Cosby, who also lent his voice to a number of characters, including Fat Albert himself. Filmation was the production company for the series. The show premiered in 1972 and ran until 1985. The show, based on Cosby's remembrances of his childhood gang, centered on Albert, and his friends. The show always had an educational lesson emphasized by Cosby's live-action segments, and in early episodes the gang would usually gather in their North Philadelphia junkyard to play a rock song on their cobbled-together instruments at the end of the show.

Josie and the Pussycats is an American animated television series, based upon the Archie Comics comic book series of the same name created by Dan DeCarlo.
